COMMENTS:
This weather vane was commissioned by a couple who have two German Shepherds and who have named their home "Shepherd's Watch".

I created a shepherd's crook for the dogs to stand on, and the directionals are made in the shape of dog bones. The addition of extra plates which form the legs of the dogs, give added depth that would not appear on a conventional silhouette. Further detailing of the muscles,dog hair etc. were achieved by adding aluminum welds, grinding and gouging of the aluminum plate.
